Impressed

My 4 year old son has autism so I have more than a couple reasons to love it, but for any child, this app has a great way of teaching. Not only does it show you how to trace the word, but it forces you to go in the right direction and stay with in the lines. Most apps lack this discipline, in turn, not showing our children much.

Great app!

Both of my kids love this app! As both a teacher and a parent, I would really like for it to show the primary handwriting lines (headline, midline, & baseline), so that its easier for the kids to make the connection between writing on paper and tracing with their finger on the app. It would also be great to be able to make your own words to write (i.e. Childs name).

To CH03 bellow - found an app that does all you want = Write On

I Love this app. It is great and lots of fun, but as a complement for more serious practice we are using Write On - it has all of the lines and arrows for guidance on the strokes, it does cursive and block, and best of all I can have my kids write their names in the app. My kids love the way that the letters disappear in iWrite - great effects :) Great app!!!!!!

Excellent!

Awesome app, definitely helped my 3 year old son catch up to his twin sister.

Awesome app!

Both of my kids, ages 3 & 6, love this app! It is very easy and fun to learn while using this app. We have had this app almost 2 years now, the kids still enjoy playing.

Interactive

I use this application with kids in preschool, kinder and with autism spectrum students. They are motivated to use it.

Great app & great support.

My 4 year old son loves this app. He is learning to write, and we are seeing improvement which we attribute to this app. We didnt quite get how the letters had to go on the bottom right corner, but a quick email to support resulted in an almost immediate response which cleared up our issue. In summary, great app & great service. We highly recommend this app!

My 2 and half year old daughter loves it

Just have to my daughter for playing with this and she loved it. It is fun for her and also good learning. Very well thought and designed App for kids between 2 to 4 years age, particularly ones who are learning how to write letters.

Parent

This app is exactly what my 10 year old needed to start writing! Its excellent motivation for him. He has sensory processing disorder, and is largely non-verbal. He can use this in his special education classroom, as well as use it for fun on his iPad.

Toddler must-have

This App has entertained several toddlers (2yo-4yo) for time on end!!

Our favorite app!!!!!!

This is definitely the only app that I dont feel bad about letting my 2 and 4 year olds use! We all love it.

Excellent Learning Tool!

I have a very stubborn 5 year old and even she loves this app! It makes learning fun and exciting.

Everyone Loves it!

This app is beautifully crafted to be engaging and fun. Its great for practicing handwriting and reading skills. My special needs teenager who operates at about a 5 year old level chooses this educational ap for its fun quotient. My 3-year old step-granddaughter chooses it for its challenge. My 4 year old twin nephew and niece that I just visited in the UK consistently chose this ap above all others. It really does rank up there with the game aps for young children. They just love it. And its a real pleasure to see children choose an educational ap amongst all the entertaining ones. They feel a real sense of achievement with this. I love how they can see their actual handwriting after finishing a word. And they always love how they can move the tiles to the spinning vortex trash!

My autistic son loves it!

Great tool for teaching motor skills, and for keeping their interest with the interesting physics of the letter cubes. My only complaint is that the pictures that are shown when the word is finished are way too artsy for my son (is that a cat or a watermelon with eyes?). I wish that there was a choice of pictures to be shown. Maybe in the next version?

Great app

Could you please add a version for left-handed users?

Just what I was hoping for.

I just got my IPad and this is the first apps I bought for my kids. Its just what I was hoping for. It is simple and engaging but not over stimulating or distracting. Its set up so that the kids learn to write letters properly and has the option to become more difficult as the child improves their handwriting skills. I really love it and my kids do too. It was totally worth the money. As someone who has never owned anything from Apple, Ive had trouble learning how to navigate the apps and use the different settings. The support staff for this app replied to a question I emailed in less than an hour helping me solve my problem. I think its a great app and that they provide great support service.

Lovely Game

My son lovessssssss this game!!! He is 3 and has been using it for almost a year now. great job guys!,,

Could be better

This is a great app for early preschoolers. My son is 3 1/2 years old and he loves this app and it is soon easy for him. Great idea for learning. I wish it had ability to create the iwrite features for words entered by the user. That would be awesome for working with writing their name or letters they struggle with. At least it should have ability to go to any letter you want. That would be much better. As it is, kids can get a bit bored fast.

Fun and Educational

My 3 year old is beginning to write letters and loves doing so with this app, plus its helping her to spell primary words. Glad I purchased it.

Well done

The best app of this type weve used. My 4 year old uses it regularly. Even my two year old is trying and finds it fun.
